After the Holidays Workout Routine

This is a beginner’s routine with an experienced mind-set and foundation.  This is how you build a solid and strong physical foundation. Once this is established, you can start to focus on getting the physical shape you desire, but first things first.  Patience is a necessity when getting in shape, especially when starting out. Most exercise books and websites assume a lot of things about the reader and usually discourage most people before they even feel or see any improvement in their appearance.           Full Article PDF version

DANGER! CANOLA OIL (AKA “RAPESEED”)

Did you know canola oil is the acronym for “Canadian oil low-acid?” It is genetically modified, hybrid form of the rapeseed plant. The rapeseed plant is toxic, bugs and insects won’t even eat.

canolaIt is deemed unfit for animal and human consumption. Yet, some genius, thought because this plant can grow in a very cold climate, where other plants can’t, they would waste their time in trying to make the plant safe for human consumption. I hope you ask yourself, why would anyone put a toxic plant into their body just because some group of so-called experts voted that it is safe due to genetic modifications.
Facts:

  • rapeseed contains 50% erucic acid
  • new man-made rapeseed contains less that 5% (this amount is deem okay for human consumption)
  • originally referred to as “LEAR OIL” for low erucic acid rapeseed (this wasn’t a good brand name so they changed it to Canola)
  • erucic acid attacks the heart and ciruculatory system
  • it reduces total cholesterol and LDL(bad cholesterol), and also decreases the HDL (good) cholesterol
  • it provides no benefit for the cardiovascular system
  • causes blood cells to become rigid and less permeable and makes them unable to pass through tiny capillaries, hence causes high blood pressure
  • the omega-3 content is easily destroyed when heated during cooking, becomes oxidized and turns into free-radicals

Stop using man-made Canola Oil (aka Rapeseed) and start using naturally occurring and healthy food products, such as coconut oil.  I hope this broadened your current perception on what you may be putting in your body. Healthy body equals health mind.

We are what we believe.

WHO ARE WE?

We are what we choose to believe in, let’s not lie to ourselves.

“Above all, don’t lie to yourself. The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to a point that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and others. And having no respect he ceases to love.” Fyodor Dostoevsky

We are unique individuals. We have hopes and dreams that deserve to be realized or at least pursued with the hope of being realized. So what happened to the children who dreamt big and believed in those sometimes traditional and most of the time fantastical dreams? What happened to believing in our dreams, and knowing they would come true when we got older?

Did we start believing in and are we relying on what we were and are told by well known Fortune 500 companies whose whole purpose in life is to make a profit? “Milk does a body good!” Are you sure? Have you taken the time to do your own investigating? Or are you just relying on these companies to tell you the truth. These multinational companies are betting that we are too lazy to do our own investigating and believe even if they spend millions of dollars on their sophisticate, flashy, and “Wow” inspiring slogans and campaigns, they will still make multi-millions in profit off of the our laziness and gullibility.

Have you ever wondered why large companies are willing to pay Ivy League and highly educated public relations (PR), and marketing manager’s six figure salaries to design a slogans and marketing campaigns? Does the Truth need to be hyped up and plastered on the cover of “Time” magazine or the “Wall Street Journal for us to believe in what they are saying?” The truth does not need a team of PR representatives to create false and exciting claims about what a product does; the truth will sell itself by word of mouth; won’t it? Please voice your thoughts and opinions. More to follow on this very important topic.

HOPE

Hope

A small, somewhat insignificant, four letter word.  It’s treated like a little brother, when big bro yells at him to go home, you can’t come with us, your too little, just go!  Is hope for the innocent and naive?  Have most of us bought into the lies of our current reality.  Don’t take this the wrong way, our reality is providing a satisfactory level of subsistence for a lot of people.  But, that doesn’t make it right or the Truth.  Don’t you desire?  Don’t you have hope for a better future?  I do. That is why I want to expose our realities for what they  really are, partial truths and some that are blatant lies. Hope to know the Truths.

I HOPE you see this next topic of discussion for what it really is. I will start of with a simple topic, the topic of MILK, cows milk.

Facts:

Milks has vitamin “D”

Milk has calicum

Cow’s Milk is a foreign protein to the human body

“The ability of cow’s milk protein to initiate Type 1 diabetes is well documented” (Campbell & Campbell,2006,  p. 187).

“Genetically susceptible children weaned too early onto cow’s milk-base formula had a risk of Type 1 diabetes that was  13.1 times greater than children who did not have these genes and who were breast-feed for at least three months(thus minimizing their exposure to cow’s milk)” (p. 189).

“To put this into perspective, smokers have approximately ten times greater risk of getting lung cancer (still less than the eleven to thirteen times risk here) and people with high blood pressure and cholesterol have a 2.5-3.0 times greater risk of heart disease” (p. 189).

“VITAMIN D  IS NOT A NUTRIENT THAT WE NEED TO CONSUME. OUR BODY CAN MAKE ALL THAT WE NEED SIMPLY BY BEING IN THE SUNLIGHT FIFTEEN TO THIRTY MINUTES EVERY COUPLE OF DAYS. IN ADDITION TO THE PRODUCTION OF VITAMIN D BEING AFFECTED BY SUNLIGHT, IT IS ALSO AFFECTED BY THE FOOD THAT WE EAT” (p. 179).

The body produces an active form of vitamin D that cannot be provided by foods and it is called supercharged vitamin D, which no pharmaceutical company can manufacture.

“This active or “supercharged” D produces many benefits throughout the body, including the prevention of cancer, autoimmune diseases and diseases like

osteoporosis.  As it turn out, our diet can determine how much of this supercharged D is produced and how it works once it is produced. Animal protein that we

consume has the tendency to block the production of supercharged D, leaving the body with low levels of this vitamin D in the blood.  If these low levels persist,

prostate cancer can result. Also, persistently high intakes of calcium create an environment where supercharged D declines, thus adding to the problem.

So what food substance has both animal protein and large amounts of calcium?  Milk and other dairy foods.  This fits in perfectly with the evidence that links

dairy consumption with prostate cancer” (p. 180).

Hopefully this sleds some light onto the simple, or so you thought, topic of Milk.
